Snow returns

Snow returned to the ViaLattea today which was a welcome site as I pulled backed the curtains this morning. Not that we desperately needed it but after 11 days of clear skies its always nice when the white stuff starts falling again.

According to the forecast It’s set to last all day with a break in the weather after tonight. The good news is that this looks likes its a precursor to the weather front coming in next week. It’s due to start snowing next Wednesday (22nd) and for it to last for 6 days which is the best Christmas present ever!

Piste conditions are good and the guys who work up the mountain have done a good job keeping the runs in as good a condition as possible given the fact that we’ve had 11 days of clear skies and before that 3 days of rain.

With the first big influx of guests this weekend this is perfectly timed. Those who are flying out this Sunday should be met with a white village and excellent conditions up the mountain. Happy skiing!
