The aerial event consists in the execution of two different acrobatic jumps. The sum of the scores acquired provides the final result. The first 12 athletes classified in the qualifying heat can take part in the final.
The course
The aerial course comprises a run-up, 5/7 air bumps of various heights and angles, landing and arrival. It will be located in Jovenceaux on a slope created especially for the games. This is a short walking distance from Sauze village center.
Score
Air: 20% of score
Form: 50% of score
Landing: 30% of score
Judges
5 judges for Air/Form (with the lowest and highest scores being rejected)
2 judges for landing.
The sum of the scores is multiplied by the level of difficulty of the jump executed.
