Apres Ski

Aside from the great range of skiing opportunities, Sauze d'Oulx possesses everything needed for a great apres ski experience: a wide range of bars, pubs and clubs; many good and inexpensive restaurants and pizzerias; shops, a cinema and a weekly market.

Bars
Sauze d'Oulx is Italy’s liveliest resort with numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. If you are looking for cocktails after a hard day on the slope then Moncrons won’t disappoint. Next door to Moncrons you’ll find The Derby bar which has a large open fire and a wide range of local liquor. The Cotton Club, being in the centre of town, is a popular choice however if you like your pubs to be Irish then Paddy McGinty’s will be able to pour you a pint of the black stuff. Further into the old town Il Lampione stays open late and Gran Trun has occasional live music. Another venue for live music is Vagabondi’s which is in the main square and has a mixture of Italian and English music. Most bars stay open late however if you are looking to dance into the small hours of the morning then Sauze has two discos to choose from, Banditos and The Schuss.

Restaurants
Sauze d'Oulx has over 30 restaurants to choose from ranging from traditional pasta houses in the old town to restaurants that will serve you a 10 course gastronomic extravagance. Seasoned visitors to Sauze d'Oulx might be glad to learn that Del Falco is opening its doors again this season. The location has changed but you can be sure that the same high standards are the same. Del Borgo is highly recommended for their excellent pizza’s cooked in a traditional wood burning stove, Le Pecore Nere or The Black Sheep serves local pasta dishes. Sugo’s also has a good reputation for pasta. Most restaurants have a full menu and all are reasonably priced.
