If you like the idea of taking your own car on holiday then the journey to Sauze d’Oulx is relatively painless especially if you share the driving. From most of the European ferry ports that serve the routes from the UK the driving time is around 9hrs.

By Train
It’s possible to take the Eurostar from St Pancras, Ebbsfleet International or Ashford International to Paris Gare de Nord. From here you hop on the metro to Gare de Lyon where you can catch a train direct to Oulx. The journey from Paris takes approximately 5 hrs. from Oulx its a 10 minute bus journey up the mountain to Sauze. The prices start at £98 for an adult return ticket.
If your travelling from Turin then there are regular trains from Porta Nuova, Turin to Oulx. The journey will take approximately 1hr 30mins. To find out more information click here.
By Air
There are 6 airports that you could fly to if you were coming to Sauze d’Oulx. The nearest airport is Turin/Torino – Caselle (TRN) Location: 16km North of Turin, 90km east from Sauze. The transfer time by car is around 1 hour. There is the option of taking a bus to the main train staion in Turin (Porta Nuova) and from there catching a train to Oulx. It is a relatively easy journey to make although with lots of baggage it can be frustrating. The upside is that it will only cost you around €15
